The Heat in Crete

We got woken up at 4:30 am (SO EARLY!!) and herded back onto the buses down to the port. The boat was fixed and left soon after. I slept the whole ride. I got to Heraklion, Crete and did my usual routine of asking a tourist office where my hotel is. I got there and ate breakfast. I walked around Heraklion and saw all the sights. I did a little siesta and then came to this internet cafe. Hopefully I can update this entry more tomorrow. My time is running low. Tomorrow I am going to Knossos, one of the best archaeological sites in the world. Till then, bye!

Miss and love everyone!!!

that is kind of a bummer about a)missing bus b) ferry breaking

However, it appears that you've made the best of the situation.

You headed the topic "the heat in Crete". Knowing so well the Crete I enjoy to spend my summers, I was waiting with baited breath to read you were sweltering under the Springtime sunshine? Being a Brit, of course weather features importantly in the sub-conscious, especially when it comes to the sun. Probably because of the lack of it in the UK proper.
